Beam Calculator Studio is an engineering web application. This policy explains what information is used by the application and by advertising services on this site.

Local project data

Project inputs, saved drafts, theme settings and interface preferences may be stored locally in your browser using local storage. Local storage remains on your device unless you clear it or use the app's project delete/reset controls.

Calculation service

When you run a calculation, generate a report, or generate a hand calculation, the app sends the current beam inputs to the Beam Calculator Studio backend so the server can perform the calculation and return results. Do not enter confidential project information unless you are comfortable sending it to the calculation service.

Advertising and cookies
